About CyberPulse

At CyberPulse, security is the foundation and compliance is the result. We are an Australian cybersecurity consultancy delivering integrated security and compliance programmes to organisations of all sizes, from startups achieving their first certification to enterprise clients across financial services, legal, utilities, and government.

Our team brings together former CISOs, security practitioners, and senior advisory specialists with decades of hands-on experience. We cover implementation and audit under one roof, so clients gain a single partner who understands both the technical and regulatory picture.

The outcome is a security programme that satisfies regulators and genuinely reduces risk.

Who We Are

CyberPulse was founded on a straightforward belief: security done well makes compliance straightforward. Too many organisations approach this in reverse, chasing certifications without addressing the underlying security posture first. We built CyberPulse to change that.

Since our founding, we have delivered over 900 projects across Australia, completed more than 400 security assessments, and supported over 350 satisfied clients. Our client base ranges from startups pursuing their first ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification to ASX-listed enterprises, government contractors, and some of Australia’s largest legal firms.

We specialise in the compliance frameworks that matter most in the Australian market: Essential Eight, ISO 27001, SOC 2, IRAP, and APRA CPS 234. Our managed security services ensure organisations remain protected and compliant beyond certification, not just at point-in-time audit.

Our Approach to Cybersecurity and Compliance

Most consultancies either handle implementation or audit. CyberPulse does both. This integrated model means we understand the security gaps before the audit begins, and we build remediation programmes that address real risk, not just audit findings.

Our approach centres on continuous improvement rather than periodic compliance sprints. As a result, clients avoid the cycle of scrambling before each audit and then neglecting security until the next one. Instead, security becomes an embedded operational discipline, and regulatory compliance follows naturally.

We also bring genuine Australian regulatory expertise. Frameworks such as APRA CPS 234, the ASD Essential Eight, and IRAP carry specific local application requirements that international consultancies frequently misapply. Our team holds direct delivery experience across all of these frameworks in the Australian context.

Trusted by Australia’s Leading Organisations

CyberPulse works with organisations at every stage of their security journey, from startups achieving their first certification to large enterprises managing complex, multi-framework compliance programmes.

In the legal sector, we have supported five of Australia’s ten largest legal firms with security strategy, ISO 27001 certification, and compliance programme design. In financial services, our engagements span Big Four banks and leading insurance companies, covering strategic security programmes, APRA CPS 234 compliance, and PCI-DSS certification. In government, we have supported NSW State Government agencies through PCI-DSS certification across multiple separate projects. We also serve utilities and critical infrastructure clients requiring ISO 27001 across both IT and operational technology environments.
